C-BTE Australia is a growing network of people involved in centering Christian education and training in local churches. C-BTE (Church-Based Theological Education) focuses on the church as God's chosen vehicle for training and equipping His people for life and service.
The current national co-ordinators are Tim McLaughlin (NSW), Brian Wilson (TAS) and Phil Thomas (QLD). This team works together to promote this church-based philosophy and to equip others to work within their local churches to train people of all ages and abilities.
C-BTE has a strong emphasis on leadership training, recognising that it is leaders who train leaders.
